Responsibilities

  • The Float RN will go to units that are in staffing need.
  • Accountable for the health status and for the health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
  • Current RN License
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Previous acute care experience.
