  • BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo’s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity.

Responsibilities

  • The Security Officer ensures security for the hospital and provides protection and safety to employees, patients, and visitors.
  • They also provide security to protect the physical facility, equipment, supplies, and medications, as well as control traffic around, in, and out of the institution, make scheduled rounds, and lock doors.
  • To provide excellent customer service by providing security and safety to patients, visitors, and staff of Baptist St. Anthony’s properties.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
  • Maintains a valid Non-Commissioned Security License with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

  • Maintains a valid driver's license with the Texas Department of Public Safety and a safe driving record.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Healthcare security experience.
  • Security experience.
