This role is crucial in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety by maintaining strict sterilization standards.


Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • High School or GED.

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician certification program.

  • Certification through CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management).
