Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Wolflin - Amarillo, TX 79109Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Retail BankingJob Summary: Responsible for completing financial transactions, as well as educating and referring customers to the Banks products and services.   Education: A minimum of the following education/experience is required: High School Diploma/GED or 1 year experience in cash handling or banking.   Job Specific Responsibilities: Organizes teller workstation maintaining adequate cash, forms, and supply inventories for the day’s activities. Conducts a variety of customer savings, checking and loan payment transactions in conformance with Bank policy and procedures. Reviews and verifies proper identification. Maintains accurate records of transactions and initiates proper balancing procedures at the end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies.  Researches and resolves errors with assistance. Manages risk for both the Bank and Bank customers. Resolves customer issues with assistance. Periodically participates in community events possibly outside of normal business hours. Attends morning huddles, staff meetings, and development activities. Promotes the bank's products and services; cross-sells bank products. May be responsible for bank opening/closing. Maintains positive relations with all contacts, customers, and potential customers. Answers incoming phone calls. Maintains knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and complies with all aspects, which includes proper completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL), as needed, and reports unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate Bank personnel.
