Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

We are looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join us in producing high quality product on time with an expert maintenance team! You'll have the chance to tackle new challenges and learn by working with skilled technicians and operators.

What you’ll do:

• Keep our equipment running smoothly by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and installations. 
• Dig into and develop knowledge of pneumatics, steam, water, and ammonia systems, and mastering your knowledge of managing processing equipment, control systems, and PLCs. 
• Problem solve by reading blueprints, diagrams, equipment manuals, and trade instructions to troubleshoot problems, offer solutions, order parts, and repair equipment. 
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental guidelines while maintaining all necessary documentation. 
• Operate and maintain all plant utilities.
• Weld using various types of equipment, welds, and materials for sanitary product lines.
• Actively participate in emergency response teams, training, and programs to improve safety.
• Clean, organize and maintain tools, workspaces, and equipment.

What you’ll bring:

• A strong mechanical aptitude and curiosity for industrial controls/repairing equipment. 
• Eagerness to learn processes, equipment, and skills required for job tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings and work with minimal supervision. 
• Computer literacy with ability to initiate, track, or execute work orders electronically. 
• Ability to climb stairs and work intermittently in hot and/or dusty environments.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional degree or certification(s) related to maintenance and manufacturing are beneficial.
• 4+ years progressive experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance preferred. Experience in Food, chemical and/or dairy processing beneficial.
