This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: “Silo Ridge Field Club”, set in beautiful Amenia, New York.

Silo Ridge Field Club is seeking a Seasonal Recreation Facilities Attendant to join our Outdoor Pursuits Department for the peak summer season. This position is available May 1 – Sept 8, 2026.

This position is perfect for someone who likes to stay busy, work independently, and take pride in keeping everything clean, stocked, and running smoothly. They are responsible for making sure the Club’s recreation spaces and outdoor amenities are always “member ready” — from fresh towels at the pool, to clean activity spaces, to stocked coolers, to sports equipment that’s organized and in great condition. This is a hands-on, active, labor-focused role that plays a big part in delivering the Discovery Land Company experience. The goal is simple: members should always feel like everything is effortless, prepared, and taken care of.

Key Responsibilities:

Keep Outdoor Pursuits areas clean, stocked, and member-ready.
Complete daily rounds of Outdoor Pursuits facilities and recreation areas to ensure everything looks great and is fully prepared for member use.
Clean, organize, and reset key amenities throughout the day including:
- Family Barn arcade, theater, and craft rooms
- Outdoor Pursuits Central / Backyard activity areas
- Har Tru tennis court areas
- Bait Shop and Beach facilities
Empty trash, replace liners, and maintain cleanliness at all Outdoor Pursuits areas.
Restock towels, sunscreen, and other member supplies at outdoor stations.
Refill and restock member coolers at sports/recreation areas.
Assist with stock control, tool organization, and inventory counts as requested by management.
Keep sports and recreation equipment organized, clean, and in good working condition.
Collect pool and beach towels throughout the day.
Transport towels to laundry area, wash/dry/fold them, and return them to towel stations.
Ensure towel stations remain fully stocked during peak usage times.
Remain responsive on the radio and available for last-minute tasks as they come up.
Support other Outdoor Pursuits needs as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in hospitality, facilities support, recreation, custodial, or guest service is preferred (but not required).
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest times.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting/carrying items (up to 50 lbs), and being active for extended periods.

Benefits:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
