Cook (Childcare Center) | Full-Time | No Nights or Weekends

Looking for a stable, full-time cook position with a consistent schedule and meaningful work? A to Z Building Blocks is hiring a Childcare Cook to prepare nutritious meals in a positive early childhood education environment.

Pay and Schedule

$16.25/hour
Full-time position
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No nights or weekends

What You Will Do

Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
Follow menus and standardized recipes
Cook, serve, and safely store food
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Wash dishes and assist with kitchen upkeep
Track inventory and restock supplies
Grocery shop weekly
Assist with transportation for our school age children

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain)
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Cooking or kitchen experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
