As an Access Coordinator at Amery Hospital & Clinic, you will manage the technical aspects of the clinic templates for Primary Care and Specialty Care within EPIC; ensuring provider needs are met within the guidelines or AHC and/or department scheduling requirements. This position is also responsible for keeping templates updated, as system or provider changes occur, and coordinating changes with clinic staff and/or Call Center staff. This position is expected to support the mission, goals and objectives of Amery Hospital & Clinic

Work Schedule:

  • 1.0 FTE/40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday day hours

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer service setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of position-related 2-year program, such as Medical Administrative Specialist or Medical Office Specialist.
  • Experience in EPIC computer system.

Amery Hospital & Clinic offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401k with match, disability insurance and tuition reimbursement. Benefits take effect the first of the month following hire date.
