Job Summary:  

Verifies processes and manufacturing instructions to produce quality products that meet customers’ expectations. This involves inspecting parts, investigating corrective action reports, and communicating with internal and external customers. Develop, implement and coordinates product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing product

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings,deliverydocumentsandsupplier’smaterial certification and cross relate them to company standards.
  • Monitors production quality onmanufacturingfloor to see a reduction in repetitive rejections.
  • Responsible for maintenance of Customer Complaint Log and coordination of Non-conformanceCorrective Actions.
  • Reviews quality records for legibility, completeness, and accuracy to ensure compliancetorequirements.
  • Regular Attendance
  • Monitor production process quality documentation and requirementson a daily basisto achieve customer reliability objectives.
  • Assistin analyzing and resolving issues with scrap and other manufacturing issues.
  • Work with manufacturing when process changes occur to assure Quality requirements aremaintained.
  • Supports in-process, finalprocessand product audits.
  • Train Production Personnelregardingprocess testing whenrequired.
  • Assistwith the writing,reviewingand revising of procedures, workinstructionsand forms to support production quality.
  • Collect and report data in all areas of responsibility asrequired.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Desired Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering with an emphasisinQuality Assurance, or related experience in Quality Assurance isrequired.
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Good statistical analysis skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; be a team player; andhave the ability todevelop a team atmosphere.Mustbe able to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Multi-task abilities, organized, excellent time management skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of ISO, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ),regulatoryand quality standards.
  • Computerproficiency.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical regulated industry a plus. 

ADA Requirements:

  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently 
  • Occasional repetitive motion and grasping 
  • Occasional climbing to reach areas on machines or racks 
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 30lbs. occasionally, >20. frequently 
  • Typically sits, grasps items or performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer 
  • Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
