If so, Student Health and Wellness with Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a Communications Specialist II!

What You'll Do:

• Create and manage photo and video content for marketing, communications, and digital platforms.

• Plan, produce, and edit multimedia projects from concept through final delivery.

• Provide media coverage of events, programs, and campus activities.

• Develop, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms.

• Maintain content calendars and support strategic marketing campaigns.

• Monitor audience engagement and foster online community growth.

• Analyze performance metrics and recommend communication improvements.

• Design and produce digital and print marketing materials.

• Review and edit communications content for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.

• Build, update, and maintain department websites and web content.

• Ensure communications and websites meet accessibility and branding standards.

• Collaborate with campus partners to support marketing, outreach, and communication initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and related editing and graphic design software.

• Experience with website design and maintenance using Drupal.

• Experience managing and planning content for social media accounts.

• Experience with marketing analytics.

• Familiarity with health and wellness concepts and experience supporting related programs, services, or communications.

About Student Health and Wellness:
Part of the Division of Student Affairs, the Student Health and Wellness unit consists of four departments: Recreation Services, Student Counseling Services, Student Wellness, and the Thielen Student Health Center.
