UnityPoint Health - Eyerly Ball provides outpatient, residential and community mental health services. As a leader in providing services that respond to the changing mental health needs in our community, Eyerly Ball has evolved over the years from a single outpatient clinic to include multiple clinic locations, residential facilities, community outreach programs, care coordination and crisis services. Responsibilities

• Fulltime position based out of our Eyerly Ball Ames clinic  
• M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Practice autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients’ psychiatric illnesses in an Open Access Center setting, and also working with established long term clients.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and follow-up medication management to patients
• Treat crisis situations and emergencies, as needed
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
• Target candidate open to working w/full Age Range. (0-99).  Adolescents/Juvenile age ranges a strong preference.
• SUD/MAT experience preferred

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner 
• Current ARNP license with Iowa Board of Pharmacy recognition and active DEA number
• Board Eligible or Board Certified 
• Current ANCC Certification
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States
