Job Summary: Plans, directs, and executes regional sales strategies through a network of manufacturers’ representatives to achieve established revenue, market share, and growth objectives across assigned geographies and product lines. Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, while continuously monitoring results to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and address performance gaps.

Manages key strategic and house accounts, cultivating strong customer relationships and negotiating complex sales agreements with both existing and prospective customers of significant importance to the organization. Provides leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to manufacturers’ representatives, ensuring a thorough understanding of products, services, value propositions, marketing initiatives, and sales programs.

Serves as the primary liaison between customers, manufacturers’ representatives, and internal factory teams to facilitate effective communication, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction. Leads, develops, and motivates a high-performing representative network, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement to support long-term business growth and organizational objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, lead, and maintain a high-performing manufacturers’ representative network that is well-trained, customer-focused, and aligned with company objectives and growth strategies.

  • Implement and execute regional sales strategies and programs that support corporate goals, annual operating plans, and territory-specific business objectives.

  • Establish sales targets and performance expectations for manufacturers’ representatives; monitor results, evaluate effectiveness, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

  • Develop, recommend, and administer sales policies, procedures, pricing programs, discount structures, and commercial terms to support business objectives while maintaining profitability.

  • Plan, organize, and facilitate regular sales meetings, training sessions, and business reviews to enhance product knowledge, sales effectiveness, market awareness, and team engagement among both internal and external sales personnel.

  • Strengthening customer relationships and expand market presence through executive-level presentations, industry trade shows, customer visits, and coordination of factory tours and demonstrations.

  • Prepare and provide accurate monthly sales forecasts, pipeline updates, market intelligence, and business performance reports, while proactively communicating significant sales opportunities, risks, and market developments to the National Sales Manager – Commercial Representative Sales.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, customer support, operations, and product management, to ensure alignment and successful execution of customer and business requirements.

  • Travel approximately 25% to 40% of the time to support representative development, customer engagement, business development activities, sales presentations, and the successful closing of strategic opportunities.

  • Participate in company-sponsored meetings, factory training programs, sales conferences, and other professional development activities as required to maintain product expertise and organizational alignment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required (approximately 10+ years)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management capacity, strongly preferred
