Job Description

This position will report to a Principal or designee level staff member. Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Ability to lead project team(s) and execute projects on time, within budget, and with a high degree of quality.
  • Interface with clients as required to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Have technical capability to mentor team members in the execution of their duties.
  • Work activities will include
    • Forensic investigation of equipment failures.
    • Design and analyze equipment and systems in power plants and buildings.
    • Design instrument test loops to evaluate component failure cause.
    • Instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis of equipment and structures.
    • Evaluate materials and composition of electrical components and systems for application suitability.
    • Write technical reports without supervision.
  • Can-do attitude, self-motivated and able to perform requirements with minimal guidance
  • Must be willing to work at and able to be badged at commercial nuclear facilities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 8+ years’ experience.
  • Possess EIT certification. Licensed professional engineer preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, with efficient use of Microsoft products.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances at a commercial nuclear plant.
  • Ability to travel to customer or project sites, which may include weekends.
