Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse and 2 years of experience in long term care management Essential Job Functions: Assume Director of Nursing position when Director of Nursing is unavailable. Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary. Coordinate staffing and address emergent issues as needed. Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, and communicate with discharge coordinators and social service consultants. Establish good public relations with hospital discharge coordinators and social service consultants. Act as a Charge Nurse and cover the floor/various shifts as needed for the best interest of the facility.
