As a Heating Service Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our customers. Your goal will be to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic activities regarding service equipment within our established policies and procedures. Your success is dependent on the quality of work you complete and the satisfaction of our customers’ needs.Â

Your Role:Â Â
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane-fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanksÂ
Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairsÂ
Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safelyÂ
Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service callÂ
Maintain daily and yearly inventoryÂ
Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliableÂ
Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivityÂ
Rotational on-call evenings and weekendsÂ
Your Skills:Â Â
Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills, attention to detail and strong customer serviceÂ
Frequent driving, climbing in and out of vehicle working in confined spaces, heavy lifting and ability to work at heights ranging up to 50 ftÂ
Ability to install various types of heating equipmentÂ
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlinesÂ
Strong decision-making skillsÂ
Your Experience:Â
A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an assetÂ
Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is requiredÂ
Heating technician experience considered an assetÂ
