Description

  JOB SUMMARY

The Master Scheduler creates, forecasts and manages the production schedules for the Manufacturing group. The Master Scheduler drives all planning activities to optimize workflow and production capacity throughout the shop to achieve on-time delivery to our customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, forecast, implement, manage and monitor the production schedule to meet capacity and optimize efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned with the production schedules.
  • Use ERP system to track, maintain data integrity and improve start dates.
  • Prepare and communicate monthly build plans.
  • Use data to analyze and provide solutions to scheduling problems.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales and Engineering on scheduling issues.
  • Ensure that all customers, company, and industry standards are adhered to.

Requirements

 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The qualified candidate must demonstrate training ability and be able to support internal customer needs. They must be committed to quality, safety and communication and be a team player.  


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience considered in leu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling. 
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve scheduling and production challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
