SUMMARY: In coordination with Stellar Technology management team, this position is responsible for conducting trainings and directly monitoring the entire facility operation to always ensure safe, compliant and efficient operation at all times and take any steps as necessary to correct issues that may arise.Ā 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains a culture of accountability, professionalism and commitment to company quality and safety standards.Ā 
    • This includes alerting management to unsafe conditions, working with the appropriate resources to correct unsafe conditions, ensuring associate safety compliance, conducting periodic safety training, and investigating accidents as required.Ā 
  • Manages the company safety program. This includes ensuring company OSHA compliance, regulatory and statutory compliance.Ā 
  • Delivers and/or coordinates all regulatory or company required testing and training as per defined schedules or upon a change to requirements.Ā 
  • Ensures ESD/FOD compliance including conducting periodic audits along with procurement of ESD coats and uniforms for all necessary employees and monitoring charges.
  • Implements and maintains all site required documentation and records related to the Emergency Health & Safety Management system including accident reports, inspection and audit reports, training logs, etc.Ā 
  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of company-wide training programs and training records. Conduct regular audits of training systems to ensure that all required training is properly assigned, completed, and documented for applicable personnel.
  • Identifies and leads or participates in continuous improvement activities.Ā 
  • Conducts risk assessments and implements corrective actions.
  • Organizes and oversee Emergency Response Team, including any required training and certification.
  • Encourages and solicits associate process improvement suggestions, and work with all appropriate parties to implement.Ā 
  • Monitors waste including chemicals and batteries and ensures proper disposal. Initiates improvement opportunities with the goal of waste reduction.
  • Oversees and operates solvent recovery equipment. Involved in storing, recovery and distribution of production solvent.Ā 
  • Maintains all safety equipment and required inspections or testing.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple project assignments.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
  • Proficient with ISO 9001 and AS9100.Ā

  • Possess computer skills including microsoft suite and database software.
  • Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
