Job Summary

PVA (Jiffy Lube) is seeking a Licensed State Motor Vehicle Inspector / Lube Technician to perform state‑regulated inspections and provide reliable, preventative maintenance services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicle safety, compliance, and customer confidence.

What You’ll Do

• Perform state‑mandated vehicle inspections and multi‑point safety checks
• Ensure compliance with DMV regulations and emissions standards
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records
• Clearly communicate pass/fail outcomes and recommended corrective actions
• Inspect for wear, damage, faulty components, or illegal equipment
• Evaluate mechanical systems, electrical components, and accessories
• Perform preventative maintenance services, including:
• Oil changes
• Fluid top‑offs
• Light, wiper, brake, and tire services
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Valid State Motor Vehicle Inspector License
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform physical job duties (standing, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, crawling, reaching)
• Comfortable working in enclosed and semi‑outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
