What you will do:

 

The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of materials to customer locations and job sites. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands-on support in loading, unloading, and verifying deliveries. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
  • Deliver materials to job sites and customer locations accurately and on time
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
  • Verify materials, quantities, and delivery details before and after each delivery
  • Obtain required documentation, such as signatures or proof of delivery
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete required paperwork
  • Interact professionally with customers and job site personnel
  • Address questions or concerns and ensure a positive delivery experience
  • Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, or corrections as needed
  • Support warehouse or yard operations, including staging and organizing materials
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations

What you will bring:

  • Valid driver’s license (Class E or equivalent) with a clean driving record
  • Strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic
  • Experience in delivery, warehouse, or material handling roles
  • Familiarity with building materials or similar products
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Comfortability with working in a combination of driving, warehouse, yard, and outdoor environments
  • Comfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions and job site environments
  • Ability to work extended hours based on business needs
