Job Description

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor and control access to assigned areas by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
