Overview

Manages clinical operations and staff while providing high quality patient care. Evaluates patients, plans andimplements an effective patient focused physical therapy program utilizing standard and specialized treatmenttechniques, effectively communicates and documents information regarding patients. Establishes and initiatesdischarge plans as necessary. Consistently evaluates outcome of care and provides continuous monitoring of patients' needs making appropriate modifications in the treatment plan. Maintain a high level of professionalexpertise and assume responsibility for professional growth and development.This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC- AnaheimRegional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the core valuesof AHMC- Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Healthcare Inc. The employee shall supportAHMC-Anaheim Regional Medical Center's strategic plan and goals and direction of the performanceimprovement plan. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, butnot limited to; Customer Service, Patient's Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and other initiatives.

 

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCEGraduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy ProgramOne to Two years of inpatient and outpatient physical therapy experience in an acute hospital and /or rehabilitation department and/or outpatient clinic setting preferred; may consider a new grad.

 

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSCurrent California Physical Therapist License RequiredBCLS certificate required
