Meals on Wheels Orange County is the largest nonprofit provider of nutrition and supportive services for at-risk older adults in Central and North Orange County. Our mission is to combat hunger and loneliness among older adults through nutritious meals, friendly visits, and safety checks, and to support families through day services. We deliver nearly 2 million meals annually to 20,000 at-risk older adults.
 Hours: Mon-Fri, 5:00 am-1:30 pm

Hourly Range:Â $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (Hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience)
JOB SUMMARY:Â The Production Administrative Coordinator supports the Food Services and Sales Department by coordinating menus, surveys, training materials, reports, billing, inventory documentation, and day-to-day administrative needs. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting teams, improving processes, and contributing to programs that serve clients and community partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate surveys, menus, nutrition education materials, temperature sheets, and in-service training materials for Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Sites, and Commercial programs.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, billing, statistical data, and program documentation with accuracy and professionalism.
- Enter and maintain menu and food service data and support monthly physical inventory processes.
- Support kitchen staff, drivers, Site Managers, the Registered Dietitian, purchasing, and department leadership with administrative and operational needs.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma plus 5+ years of administrative support and/or customer service experience.
- Proven advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong attention to detail.
- ERP systems experience preferred; ability to learn food service data systems required.
- Strong organization, follow-through, communication, and ability to work independently.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly sit, stand, walk, use a computer, keyboard, and phone, and communicate in person or by phone/email.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull office supplies, files, materials, or boxes up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently go in/out of freezers/refrigerators as needed to complete essential duties and responsibilities.Â
- Must be able to perform duties in an office and food service administrative environment with reasonable accommodation as needed.
