Position Summary:
The Sales Executive / Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth by developing new client relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and promoting staffing and workforce solutions. This role requires a motivated sales professional who excels at prospecting, closing new business, and collaborating with recruiters to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Job Duties:
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and territory sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Conduct in-person client visits, presentations, and sales meetings
- Identify client hiring needs and recommend customized staffing solutions
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to match qualified candidates with client job openings
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities
- Prepare proposals, pricing agreements, and service contracts
- Negotiate terms and successfully close new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
- Work closely with sales team members and management to share best practices and improve performance
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and staffing industry developments
- Attend networking events, job fairs, and industry functions as needed
- Perform additional sales and business development duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; College education preferred
- 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in staffing, recruiting, customer service, or business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and building long-term client relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify client needs and provide customized staffing solutions
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and perform door-to-door business development
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
