Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist will be reporting to the Operations/Warehouse Manager and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all furniture items, including tracking quantities, locations, and stock levels.
Receive and inspect furniture items for damage or defects, and update inventory records.
Accurately input data into inventory management system.
Monitor inventory to minimize overstock.
Assist in fulfilling customer orders by picking, packing, and shipping furniture items in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines when handling and storing furniture items.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with other warehouse staff, including loaders, drivers, and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations.
Other duties as required by management.
Ensure conference rooms and breakrooms are orderly.
Provide administrative support to HR.
Other office duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require sitting and standing for a long period of time.

Skills Required:

1 to 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent required (associate degree preferred).
Knowledge in inventory warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Proficiency in using inventory management software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook-Teams, Word, Excel).
Knowledge of modern office equipment.
Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced work environment.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Good time management skills.
