Position Summary:Â
The Business Intelligence Analyst serves as a key link between data and decision-making. This position is responsible for designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights to business leaders. By leveraging tools such as Power BI and SQL, the analyst ensures data integrity and performance while presenting information in a way that supports strategic and operational goals.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver actionable insights to business leaders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Translate complex data into clear visualizations and business narratives that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Strategy teams to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and business-focused manner.
- Promote best practices in reporting, data governance, and analytics to help advance a data-driven culture.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):

Mandatory Requirements
- Deep understanding of and experience with PowerBI.
- Proven ability to write SQL queries.
- Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions, including KPI development and storytelling through data visualization.
- Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Strategy) to deliver insights that drive decision-making.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas; familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and visualization is a plus.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills resulting in pragmatic business solutions.
- Strong work ethics and preference for teamwork.
- Current Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Preferred Requirements
- Experience with open source languages such as R or Python. Deep Experience with the Microsoft stack (i.e. PowerBI, Fabirc, Azure, etc.).
- Proven working knowledge of Finance, Operations, or Corporate Strategy.
