Position Overview:

• Role: Center Director
• Location: Anchorage, Alaska
• Type: Full-time, year-round, non-exempt position
• In-Person Position: Remote work not available
• Starting Salary:
  • Bachelor's Degree: $33.72 per hour
  • Graduate Degree: $37.10 per hour
• Benefits: health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more
• Introductory Period: 90-day introductory period 

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers and assistant teachers in their professional development, modeling effective teaching practices, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain a supportive and welcoming environment in classrooms every day.
• Foster a sense of belonging and safety for staff, families, and children, promoting a positive community atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a closely related field is required.
• Leadership experience in early childhood education or a related field is required.
• Strong commitment to the mission of early childhood education and promoting positive child outcomes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
