Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Hours: Full Time (3) 12-Hour Shifts per week
Shifts: Night & Day Shift based on current needs.
Premium Pay Differentials:
- Nights: $4.00/hr
- Weekends $2.20/hr

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training - Completed training program for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) or any equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience.
- Coursework/Training - Completion of Medical Terminology course required or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
