Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant
Location - Anchorage, AK

Full-time temp to hire permanent     

Shift: Mon - Fri, 10AM-6:30pm      

Pay $20 per hour 


Summary: Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant

The position of Customer Service Representative will have primary responsibility to provide high-level support by assisting customers, both internal and external, and providing accurate data entered in all necessary systems.


Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant


·      ​Manage heavy call and email volume in a professional and timely manner

·      Greet and assist customers and visitors in a professional manner

·       Assists internal and external customers with information or document requests

·       Schedule appointments, meetings, and calendars as needed 

·       Process incoming/outgoing mail 

·       General Office Organization 

·       Phones, emails and correspondence

Requirements


·       1-2 years of customer service experience in an office environment with emphasis in transportation or freight forwarding preferred

·       Ability to type minimum of (40) words per minute, 10-key by touch 

·       A minimum of 1 year experience working in an office environment is required.

·       Moderate to advanced knowledge of customer service practices

·       Ability to assist in all areas of warehouse and administrative operations

·       Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Outlook, Excel and Word

·       Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures

·       Willing and able to work with all personality types in a professional, effective manner


Drug Screen (not including cannabis) and Background Check required.
