Position Summary for Industrial Plant Operator

The ideal candidate is mechanically minded, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining equipment, following procedures, and supporting efficient facility operations.

Key Responsibilities for Industrial Plant Operator 

• Monitor plant equipment, operating systems, and production processes
  

• Perform routine inspections, readings, and operational checks
  

• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical systems, piping, valves, and related equipment
  

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and identify equipment concerns 
  

• Maintain accurate operational logs, production records, and maintenance documentation
  

• Communicate equipment issues and operational concerns to management
  

• Product quality control and facility compliance requirements
  

• Participation in rotating on call responsibilities as assigned
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  

• Follow company policies and procedures as required

Requirements

Requirements for Industrial Plant Operator

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent 
  

• Strong ability to troubleshoot, mechanically inclined, tech savvy
  

• Ability to read and understand diagrams and blueprints
  

• Strong attention to detail and record keeping skills
  

• Drug screening and background check required for this position.
