Mission Statement

 

The mission of the CNC Machinist is to support Perfecto’s operational excellence by producing precision-machined components that meet or exceed quality and delivery expectations. This role is accountable for setting up, operating, and inspecting parts using CNC equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety, process control, and engineering standards. The CNC Machinist will contribute to a culture of craftsmanship, efficiency, and continuous improvement while modeling Perfecto’s Core Values: Customer Experience, Integrity, Learning, and Stewardship. 

Requirements

Role Specific Capabilities & Credentials

  • Expert in setups for multi-axis machines 
  • Troubleshoot complex machining issues 
  • Develop/modify CNC programs (CAM/G-code edits)  Train & mentor other machinists 
  • Solve advanced machining challenges  
  • Lead root cause analysis for recurring problems 
  • Propose design/process improvements 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Mentor level 1 and 2 machinists 
  • Contribute to process development & tooling strategies 
  • 7+ years CNC experience 
  • Advanced CNC programming skills 
  • Proven mentoring 
  • Cooperates with other team members, quality staff to solve problems and deliver jobs on time; supports a positive, accountable shop culture.
