KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Implements preventative maintenance programs designed to eliminate system failures.
  • Trouble shoots problem areas and makes recommendations to management for solutions.

EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical ability to operate and work on audio/visual equipment. Must be computer literate.  Use electrical testing equipment.  CAD experience a plus.  Must possess basic computer skills.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must pass a drug test and be able to pass random drug tests while employed.

 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission

 

ACCESS TO CONFIDENTIAL/PROPRIETARY INFORMATION:

Has limited access to sensitive materials as approved by the Director of Surveillance.

 

ACCESS TO GAMING FLOOR:

Has access to the general areas of the facility.  Has access to the surveillance equipment/system.  Has access to money handling areas, sensitive areas, cage and vault with permission from the Indiana Gaming Commission and the Director of Surveillance.
