JOB SUMMARY:
Assists with the management of the Table Games Department on an assigned shift and in accordance with the approved policies, procedures, Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations and Internal Controls. Promotes and maintains the utmost integrity and high-quality customer service to all patrons and employees.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Complies with Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls, as wellĀ as companyĀ policies.
Includes opening and closing table games in assigned areas; verifying count as provided by the Dealer.
Supervises Table Games operations and personnel on an assigned shift asĀ necessary.
Includes inspecting desk prior to play.Ā
Monitoring bets and payouts are correct as needed.
Sets high personal standards for performance and encourages others to do theĀ same.
Proactively recognizes rewards and celebrates outstanding examples of employeeĀ performance.
Coaches direct reports in pertinent skills ofĀ operations.
Provide written feedback in the form of DAN when applicable up to Documented Coaching, additionalĀ levelsĀ ofĀ disciplineĀ mustĀ beĀ approvedĀ byĀ aĀ ShiftĀ ManagerĀ orĀ aboveĀ beforeĀ issuing.
Counsels, guides and instructs assigned personnel in the performance of theirĀ duties.
Serves as a role model to all employees at allĀ time.
Void Fills / Markers; Monitors table limits; Is aware of situational play in the pit and informsĀ the Table Games Manager or above; Complete progressive/taxable jackpots andĀ wins
Serves as the āexpertā on theĀ floor
Ensures all guests problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within theĀ established guidelines.
Maintains departmental procedures that will assure proper protection of all table games operations from loss due to mistake orĀ theft.
Maintains current information on laws and regulations effecting tableĀ games.
Reviews and assesses reports and other relevant sources of information related to the operations.Ā

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/JOB DIMENSIONS:Ā
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Harrahās from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Harrahās disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Harrahās policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of Company facilities. Employees who violate Company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Table Games supervisory experience of 3 to 4 years preferred. Qualified candidates must have good analytical, problem- solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Candidates must possess effective communication skills both oral and written. Must have an upbeat and positive attitude, professional appearance and be a team player.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Ā
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (minimum of 2 - 4 hourĀ intervals). Must be able to sit for long periods of time (minimum 2 - 4 hourĀ intervals). Responds to visual and auralĀ cues. Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards, dice and spinning wheels, as well asĀ operate aĀ computer. Must be able to reach, bend, twist, turn, stoop, kneel, grab, grip, sort andĀ stack. Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noisesĀ and brightĀ lights.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission. Must qualify for and may be required to obtain and maintain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License.
