Anderson University is accepting applications to join our dynamic and growing Engineering Department. We invite candidates for a full-time Engineering faculty position, commencing in Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering. Rank and tenure-track status will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate.

Anderson University is home to ABET accredited engineering programs including:  Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.  The university recently launched a new Civil Engineering degree and has a Humanitarian Engineering program.

Primary duties for the position include the following:

  • Teaching undergraduate engineering courses, including labs where appropriate, using current tools of the industry.
  • Mentoring students and connecting them with industry professionals.
  • Generating scholarship.
  • Serving the community by participating in departmental and university committees, advising student projects, and supporting external city-, county-, and state-level partnerships aimed towards improving STEM education.

 

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field.  A Masters degree paired with a PE and sufficient experience will be considered.  Candidates in the areas of Electrical and/or Computer Engineering will be considered.

Candidates should have belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as interpreted through the historic witness of the Bible and the contemporary ministry of the Holy Spirit. They should possess a vitality of Christian experience that is maturing in insight and application. Candidates must meet University lifestyle expectations.
