Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Anderson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and document access activity to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted spaces, and other sensitive areas.
• Assist with badge checks, receptionist-style access support, and/or coordination with site contacts regarding deliveries, vendors, and temporary access requests in accordance with post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
