  • The Training Specialist will work closely with Training Supervisors and leadership to ensure training curricula are accurate and up-to-date.

The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, organizing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that ensure associates have the technical skills, safety knowledge, and operational competence needed to support production goals at both the Anderson and Statesville sites. The specialist will assist the Training Manager with the development of new training tools to help develop skills during the training process and work closely with the Training Supervisors to ensure that the curriculum in the training plans is accurate and up-to-date.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and standardize training materials, manuals, SOP-based modules, and instructional resources.
  • Responsible for the development and roll out of training and development videos.
  • Develop and conduct soft skills and leadership programs (supervisory training, communication, performance management, team leadership).
  • Build training folders for new hires and associates that have been awarded a new position.
  • Assist with orientation for new hires completing JSHAs, JQAs, and JSOs.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly training reports to leadership.
  • Provide feedback and support to Training Supervisors.
  • Support audits and inspections related to training records.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field desired.
  • 3+ years of experience developing training and development programs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Broad knowledge of textile machinery and processes.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work and interact with all levels of the workforce.
  • Possess a good safety, work, and attendance record.
  • Available to work any shift as required.
