About Us

Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our modular building platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for ADUs and multifamily housing. We are setting up our first software driven factory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), and have a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Carpenter to join our factory team, contributing to the production of high-quality modular housing components. This role will require generalist skills across framing, finish carpentry, and installation tasks, with a focus on precision, efficiency, and teamwork. The ideal candidate is experienced in carpentry, adaptable, and motivated by a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general carpentry tasks, including framing, sheathing, and installation of walls, floors, and ceilings.

  • Assemble and install cabinetry, doors, windows, and trim details in modules.

  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and digital plans.

  • Use hand and power tools to execute tasks with precision and consistency.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards.

  • Collaborate with other carpenters and trades to complete assigned tasks on time.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues.

  • Assist with moving materials and organizing workstations to ensure smooth production flow.

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of carpentry tools and materials.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

  • Conduct routine maintenance on carpentry tools and equipment as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of carpentry experience

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

  • Strong understanding of carpentry principles, including framing and finishing techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and working overhead for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
