Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week

Scope of Responsibility:

The Billing and EHR Assistant is responsible for ensuring the quality of documentation and billing (attendance) of all services and provide support to employees in the use of Therap.

Qualifications:

路 High School diploma required. College degree preferred.

路 Direct care experience with IDD/DDS preferred.

路 Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to resolve issues and provide clear instruction.

路 Good analytical and problem solving skills.

路 Experience in using Therap.

路 Experience in using Excel and other Microsoft products.

路 Obtain and maintain all required certifications to include FA/CPR, PMT, Bi-Annual Inservice, and medication certification.

路 Valid Connecticut Driver鈥檚 License and eligibility for Network鈥檚 auto insurance.

路 Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Relationships:

The position reports to the Billing and Admissions Director. Develops and maintains relationships with the following:

路 Other Administrative staff

路 Program Directors, Managers, and Staff

Job Responsibilities:

路 Assist the EHR Director in monitoring Therap documentation for all programs.

路 Create, update, and maintain Therap user guides as needed.

路 Generates billing, attendance, and revenue reports for services as assigned and serve as backup for supervisor.

路 Ensure that support documentation for attendance and billing is adequate and meets applicable guidelines. Provide feedback and guidance to staff as needed.

路 Assist with maintaining accurate client and billing records as assigned.

路 Assist with the implementation of new Therap modules including training, developing materials, and setup.

路 Responsible for billing and documentation related to CLA, DSO, and In Home Day at all locations.

路 Monitor the daily documentation of current IP goals and T-Logs and provide feedback to Direct Support Staff as needed.

路 Serve as the primary point of contact for staff and management regarding day-to-day questions, support, and issue resolution within Therap.

路 Set up all new users and update user privileges as needed.

路 Assist the EHR Director in updating and adding ISP Programs to Therap.

路 Participate in ongoing training, in services and staff meetings as necessary for the department

路 Other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
