Material Handler 1 - 2nd Shift - Plating Operations

Job Description

With some supervision, performs Material Handling duties within the 3DI business unit that pertains to the Logistics Department. 
-    Logistics is responsible for transacting all product into and out of the 3DI plating  work center
-     Transfer materials from the incoming rack, into fixtures and placing them into carts to move to the next operation. Verifying panels are transacted properly, and are secured into the fixtures.
-    Visually inspecting all incoming and outgoing product for compliance to acceptability specifications. 
-     Transacting panels through multiple stages of the Plating operations.
-    Chemical handling
o    Responsible for moving chemicals to and from stock location 
-    Mange the inventory on all chemicals and consumables
o    Perform daily and weekly cycle counts 
o    Move material to and from stock locations

Education / Qualifications

•    Previous experience with scanning and tracking systems is preferred
•    1 year of Material Handling experience is preferred
•    High School Diploma or equivalent
•    Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
•    Candidate should possess good computer skills including email through Outlook and have the ability to learn SAP
•    Visual product inspection experience is required
•    Per OSHA guidelines, be able to lift up to 50lbs. with assistance. 
•    Strong attention to detail is an absolute requirement

Compensation Data

Starting Pay:

$17.50/hour. Rates are higher based upon experience.
