Sager Electronics is looking for a Power Sales Engineer (PSE) to drive growth within the assigned region by expanding existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities in power, thermal and battery solutions. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who is technically savvy and who thrives at the intersection of engineering and business development.Ā 

Territory: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island

What You’ll Do

As a Power Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and securing new power supply opportunities:

  • Partner with customers from design through production to win new businessĀ 
  • Support qualification efforts for Power Systems products, including inbound leadsĀ 
  • Collaborate with the local sales team on design opportunities and application solutionsĀ 
  • Deliver product updates and emerging technology insights to customers and internal teamsĀ 
  • Capture and manage design registrations and design winsĀ 
  • Build strong relationships with local rep groups and manufacturer representative partnersĀ 
  • Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and industry trends with leadershipĀ 
  • Participate in technical training with suppliers and service centersĀ 
  • Contribute to customer planning and regional growth strategiesĀ 
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience through consistent follow-throughĀ 
  • Manage territory and time effectively to maximize impactĀ 
  • Complete administrative reporting and maintain CRM dataĀ 
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and accountabilityĀ 
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance objectivesĀ 

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering,Ā (or equivalent experience)Ā 
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience selling power solutionsĀ 
  • Experience supporting customers through the power supply selection processĀ 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of the power supply market and electronics industryĀ 
  • Ability to engage stakeholdersĀ 
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentĀ 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and listening skillsĀ 
  • Strong organizational and territory management abilitiesĀ 
  • Ability to quickly become a product expert across multiple suppliersĀ 
  • Proficiency with standard business and CRM toolsĀ 

Compensation

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $71,760-$119,275
  • Annual Total Compensation Range (Base + Incentive): $110,400-$183,500

The compensation structure includes a base salary and a monthly incentive opportunity for a combined total target income. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level. Final base salary and bonus details will be confirmed at the time of offer.Ā
