STATUS: Part-Time; Exempt

START DATE: August 2026

HOURS: 2 Days a Week/Summers off/Not Benefit or Tuition Eligible


Overview:


LCA hires staff who care about the spiritual and academic growth of their students, who maintain high

The PreK Teacher role includes investing in students relationally and providing students with relevant, effective, and

dynamic classroom instruction that equips the minds and disciples the hearts of students for Christ-like

living.


Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity. Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith.
  • Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship.  Individual must be comfortable connecting the biblical truths and perspectives to the PreK students’ learning. 
  • A belief that God has called parents to be the primary disciple/educators of their children and as a result, relationally partners with parents in their God-given mandate.
  • Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students.
  •  Early childhood licensure or certificate, and/or a 4 year teaching degree preferred.
  • Teaching experience a plus
  • First Aid and CPR training (current certification)
  • Computer and software experience required

  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment
  • Ability to navigate up to three flights of stairs
  • Lifting a minimum of 20 pounds
