Security Officer

Location: Andover, MA

Schedule: Part Time, Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Securitas Security Services is seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Security Officer to support operations at a corporate site in Andover, MA. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure environment while providing a welcoming and customer-focused presence for employees, visitors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property (interior and exterior)
Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems
Manage site access by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
Document all incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed reports
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols
Provide directions and assistance to employees, guests, and contractors
Coordinate with emergency responders when necessary

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous security experience preferred, especially in a corporate or office setting
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay alert, observant, and calm under pressure
Basic computer skills for reporting and system monitoring
Valid driver’s license (if patrol duties require vehicle use)
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors and outdoors
