By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues.   Positions available :  Full time PRN Essential Functions:   Licensed registration from Texas HHS (vis. LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW). At least 2-years of experience in evaluating and or treating persons suffering from Drug and Alcohol abuse. Must demonstrate knowledge of treatment needs and modalities depending on diagnostic issues. Current and in good standing with the Texas Board. Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency. Works as a team member with other professionals Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues Operates a personal computer and other office equipment Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses Perform job duties under stressful conditions May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities Education and minimum qualification: Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board ( LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW) Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling. Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling. Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights. Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.  Must possess a valid Driver’s License      Preferred education and experience: One to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling Bachelor's degree in a related field.   QualificationsRequired education and experience: Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
