Houston Motorsports is seeking a skilled Powersports Technician for our Houston, TX 77070 dealership. In this full-time role, you will perform essential repairs, routine maintenance, and automotive-level diagnostics on a wide range of powersports vehicles. We offer a highly competitive compensation package ranging from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on your experience and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Repairs: Complete mechanical and electrical repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and side-by-sides.
Routine Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and fluid services as assigned.
Advanced Diagnostics: Conduct precise diagnostics to accurately identify complex vehicle issues.
Quality Standards: Ensure all repairs meet strict safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Work Orders: Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all completed labor and parts used. [1, 2, 3]

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven Experience: Demonstrated previous background in motorcycle, ATV, or general powersports repair.
Technical Knowledge: Solid comprehension of small engines, electrical systems, and powersports mechanical components.
Diagnostic Skills: Competency using modern automotive/Powersports diagnostic tools and equipment.
Tool Ownership: Ability to safely handle standard hand tools and specialized power tools.
Detail-Oriented: Strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship.
Certifications: BRP, YAMAHA, SUZUKI
