Filled with advanced equipment and skilled specialists, Cameron is a modern, high-tech facility that provides advanced diagnostics, a variety of specialties and cutting-edge treatment options that are combined with highly personalized and compassionate care.   DEPARTMENT: Clinical Informatics JOB TITLE: Clinical Informatics Specialist SHIFT: FTE 1.0 (80 hours bi-weekly) Full-Time, 1st Shift BENEFITS: Eligible  Summary/Objective The Clinical Informatics Specialist serves as educator and subject matter expert for specific modules in Epic and/or other clinical information systems.   Essential Functions Provide education and training to users of clinical information systems virtually and in person Provides support to users of clinical information systems Assesses workflow related processes and requirements to facilitate system enhancements and modifications Recommends, implements, and supports approved system optimizations Participates in process improvement initiatives to identify potential uses of the information systems and potential optimization of current use of systems Qualifications Experience Previous experience for which CLINICAL INFORMATICS SPECIALIST will be training Two years in education, healthcare, or a related field   Skills/Competencies Ability to adapt teaching style for a diverse group of learners in a structured classroom or informal one-on-one setting Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a dedication to building strong relationships Understanding of clinical and clerical workflows, processes, and terminology as they relate to designated Epic modules and other clinical information systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Education Required High School Diploma/GED   Licenses Requirements None Certifications Required or Preferred Epic Credentialed Trainer within 3 months of hire   Qualifications
