Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a PRN COTA, you’ll play an essential hands-on role in delivering meaningful care and helping residents achieve their personal goals. You will:

  • Carry out individualized OT treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist

  • Provide creative, functional interventions that support mobility, ADLs, and quality of life

  • Communicate progress and observations to the OT to ensure optimal outcomes

  • Document treatment notes accurately and efficiently

  • Collaborate with a warm, interdisciplinary team that values your voice and clinical insight

  • Step in as needed to support weekday or weekend PRN coverage

This is a chance to make a real difference—every shift, every patient, every interaction.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Graduate of an accredited COTA program

  • Valid Iowa COTA license

  • Flexibility for PRN scheduling needs

  • A heart for serving older adults

  • Experience in rehab, long-term care, or acute care is great—but not required
