The Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight, planning, and coordination of all processing (milling/blending) production team members and their activities. This person directs the work activity for the production operators while complying with all safety, environmental, & food safety requirements.
This position is for our afternoon/evening shift (approximately 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) Processing Department, overseeing milling and blending in a union environment. This is a direct report of the Processing Manager.
Essential Duties:
- Ensure safety & food safety guidelines are followed and made the top priority.
- Coordinate the manpower to meet production demands.
- Oversee processing and blending operations, assist as needed with the sanitation personnel.
- Maintain a working relationship with the union by following the terms and collective bargaining agreement.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects. Identify, implement, and track measures.
- Involve in job hazard analysis development and training.
- Involve in standard operating procedure development and training.
- Document team member’s time and attendance.
- Work directly with JDE/Atomic/PKMS system to support daily manufacturing operations.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.

- Ability to train team members in all aspects of manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams.

- Strong computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
