Sonic Summary

The Accessioner is responsible for receiving and opening all incoming clinical and R&D samples.
This role requires accurately entering patient data and clinical information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Coordination with laboratory technicians is essential to ensure timely processing of samples and adherence to turnaround times.
Daily communication with Client Services and Billing is necessary to address tests in question and confirm patient insurance information.
The position typically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000.

Accessioner Principal Responsibilities

Receive and open all incoming clinical and R&D samples.
Accurately enter patient data and clinical information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Coordinate daily with laboratory technicians to ensure the samples are processed in a timely manner and that we meet turnaround time.
Communicate daily with Client Services to address tests in question and updates.
Communicate daily with Billing to confirm patient insurance information.
Perform other duties as directed.
