Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to production requirements, recipe cards, quality standards, and proper portion guidelines.
- Prepare food consistently and accurately based on orders received from servers.
- Prepare items in advance based on anticipated needs while avoiding unnecessary overproduction.
- Date, label, store, and rotate food products according to Graham Hotel System Hospitality standards.
- Ensure all perishable food items are maintained at proper temperatures.
- Check pars for each shift and determine necessary preparation, freezer pulls, and line setup.
- Communicate out-of-stock items and potential shortages to the appropriate team members.
- Assist in keeping buffets properly stocked and attractively presented.
- Properly store all unused food items at the end of each shift.
- Help control food costs, waste, loss, and product usage by following established procedures and standards.
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, food processors, mixers, slicers, ovens, steam tables, tilt kettles, waffle irons, and flat-top grills.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, including accommodating special requests and providing personalized attention.
- Help create a memorable dining experience through excellent food quality and genuine hospitality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
