Role Responsibilities
Â
 Architect Systems, Automation & Data Strategy
- Conduct a full audit and redesign of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, benefits, performance cycles, mobility, and offboarding
- Identify manual and repetitive tasks and replace them with automated, scalable workflows
- Standardize processes to ensure consistency, speed, and high-quality service delivery across the organization
- Drive technology adoption and ensure tools are fully utilized across the organization
- Establish strong data governance practices to ensure accurate, compliant, real-time People analytics
Strengthen Compliance & Operational Integrity
- Ensure all operational workflows meet local, state, and federal labor requirements while preserving business agility
- Maintain the Employee Handbook and SOPs to ensure clarity, legal soundness, and cultural alignment
- Own government compliance reporting
- Build documentation, controls, and audit-ready processes across HR
Manage Workers’ Compensation & Partner with Safety
- Manage workers’ compensation claims from intake through closure
- Partner with Safety, managers, carriers, and administrators on claim resolution and return-to-work planning
- Participate in safety committees and support safety policy development and training across the organization
- Support works comp insurance policy renewal and provide reports as required
Lead Transformation & Vendor Strategy
- Guide the organization through system and process transformations with clear communication and high-touch change management
- Manage relationships with brokers, payroll providers, and HR technology partners to ensure strong ROI and service levels
- Partner cross-functionally to embed new processes and drive sustainable adoption
Manage International Transfers
- Interface between lawyers and employees/candidates to ensure information for visas are submitted
- Ensure effective onboarding and set up of payroll, benefits, and tax supportÂ
- Manage vendors to support hiring and payroll in Mexico and other Latin American countries as needed
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive HR Operations experience
- Demonstrated experience leading HRIS implementations or large-scale HR digital transformation initiatives
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of labor law compliance and operational risk management
- Experience building and maintaining HR systems as a reliable single source of truth
- Track record of using data and metrics to measure process improvements and operational impact
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in multi-state environments and Canada
