We are hiring a Lead Project Manager to join our Intellectual Property team at Clarivate. In this role, you will be responsible for governing a global project portfolio, ensuring optimal resource utilization, and driving consistent project execution standards across regions. You will operate as a facilitator at the intersection of project delivery, operations, and continuous improvement.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsβ€―

  • 10+ years of combined experience in project/program management, professional services, software implementation, customer success or customer support roles

  • 3+ years of expreience with enterprise Project Management tools (Project Insights, Jira, Power BI)

  • Professional certification, such as PMP, PMOCP, PRINCE2, or APM/IPMA

It would be great if you also have...

  • Intellectual Property experience

  • Experience with Clarivate Intellectual Property (IP) software products

  • A collaborative leadership style and a passion for driving alignment, clarity, and positive outcomes across teams

  • Proven ability to operate in a cross-organizational role

What will you be doing in this role?β€―Β 

Portfolio Governance

  • Establish and operate a federated portfolio governance model focused on standards and enablement, not centralized control

  • Enable portfolio-level visibility into performance, risks, dependencies, and outcomes

​ Global Resource Allocation & Capacity Planning

  • Facilitate resource sharing and capacity planning acrossΒ regions

  • Partner with regional leaders to address capacity gaps and demand fluctuations

  • Serve as an escalation point for resolving resource prioritization conflicts

Tooling & Data Management

  • Own the selection and optimization of PMO tools (e.g., project management systems, reporting platforms)

  • Standardize data collection procedures to ensure accurate and consistent reporting

Executive Reporting & Insights

  • Collaborate with Operations teams to deliver executive-level dashboards and reports on portfolio health, KPIs, and delivery performance

  • Translate operational metrics into actionable insights to support leadership decision-making​

Project Management Methodology & Standards

  • Collaborate with Global Practice Director to enable and evangelize adoption of standard processes, tools, and governance models across the global organization

  • Collaborate with regional Project Managers to co-design and regionally-contextualize PM methodologies and best practices

  • Collaborate with regional delivery Partners/Contractors to ensure standard implementation methods are understood and partner lessons learned and recommendations are captured

Continuous Improvement

  • Partner closely with Global Practice Director, regional Delivery Directors, and Operations teams to:

  • Identify delivery methodology bottlenecks, waste, and variation

  • Monitor and report KPIs to enable data-driven process changes

  • Implement continuous process improvements across the global project portfolio

Strategic Initiatives Governance

  • Provide project/program management leadership to initiatives that are strategic to business objectives and organizational growth.

  • Partner with clients, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders to define project strategy, align priorities, and drive successful delivery of high-impact initiatives.

About the Team

You will be joining the Product Management team on the Intellectual Property team at Clarivate. You will work cross functionally with global teams such as regional leadership, IP Product leads, operations, and project leads. You will report directly to the VP of Product Management.

Hours of Work

  • This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days a week in one of our Clarivate offices in EST or CST. (Alexandria VA, Philadelphia PA, Ann Arbor MI, or Kansas City MO/KS)

  • You may be required to travel 1-2 times a year for team collaboration
